The Sponsoring System

![]()
First, it is important to understand how the marketing plan works to fully understand the benefits of sponsoring other people into the Kleeneze business.
So lets start this section by focussing on how to achieve the first major step on the Kleeneze career plan of Gold Distributor and an income of £1000 per Period.
How can you earn £1000 per Period as a Gold Distributor?
As a Gold Distributor your Group Volume is 7000BP or £8225 retail sales. (UK figures)
This will earn you a volume profit of 24% on your personal retail. So if you retail 300BP (£352) per week, your 4 week total is 1200BP (£1410).
Your Retail Profit for the month is 33% of the Sales Plan Value = £297
Your Volume Profit for the month is 24% of the Sales Plan Value = £216
This means that your total earnings from your personal retail is = £513
YOU ARE HALFWAY THERE!
The next £500:-
Gold Distributor target is
7000BP
Less your sales above of 1200BP
So the rest of your group must generate 5800BP or £6815
The average distributor sales per month is 510BP or £600
Therefore you need 12 active distributors in your group.
Remember ... some distributors will achieve volume profit bonuses and some will not.
So, if they earn 0% volume profit ..... you will earn 24% volume profit
if they earn 10% volume
profit ..... you will earn 14% volume profit
: :
: :
: :
if they earn 21% volume profit ..... you will earn 3% volume
profit
The average volume bonus earned on each distributor will be about 13%
So your volume profit on the 5800BP will be 13% of the Sales Plan Value = £567
Total earnings for the period will be £513 plus £567 = £1,080

PLANNING BACKWARDS
To have 12 active
distributors at the end of 3 months means finding 24 people
(as some will inevitably drop out.)
Therefore we are looking to sponsor 2 people a week
To find 2 people a week we need to present the business at 5 appointments
To get 5 appointments we need to send out 35 information packs
To send out 35 information packs we need to receive 50 telephone calls a week
SO ........ HOW DO YOU GET 50 CALLS A WEEK?

ACTIVITY
This is often referred to as the "Fish Pond Training". When people go fishing they usually have just one rod; yet the more rods you have in the pond, the more likely it is that you will catch a fish. The same same is true when it comes to finding people to sponsor - try and put activity into as many of the following areas as you can.
PEOPLE YOU CAN SPEAK TO:
Friends, relatives & colleagues ( this is the best rod in the pond so be sure to use it!)
This is such an important area
that we have a separate page about it ....

Wearing a badge & the 3 foot rule
Every day we all meet people as we do what we normally do and go where we normally go. If anyone comes within 3 feet of us it is an opportunity to talk to them about the business. The badge is just a means of helping us to do just that. ( If you don't like your job ask me about mine!). If you see someone just looking at the badge, you just need to say "Would you like to know more about this and how you can earn an extra income? If you give me your name and address I'll put an information pack in the post."
Customers
Be sure to have the "Wanted" slip in with your catalogues and also take every opportunity to ask them whether they know anyone who would be interested in earning an extra £100 to £500 a week.
Cold calls
These are calls you can make to people who you think might be interested in an additional income. Seasonal workers such as coal merchants, Bed & Breakfast Houses, etc. Low income self employed people - see your local free paper and Yellow Pages. People looking to raise money by selling anything from exercise bikes to Bentleys!
PEOPLE YOU CAN GET TO PHONE YOU:
Car advert
This is your own permanent free advertising space. You can either use a piece of flourescent card in your rear window or have cut some white or yellow lettering from a local sign maker (about £25).
Spare Time
Earnings |
Corner shop cards
Aim to have 20 or more up at any one time. Better to cover 4 shops for 1 week than one for a month!
Flyers
It's a numbers game. Typical response is 1% from cars; 2% from letter boxes. A good target is 500 or 1000 per week every week.

Deck cards
Pre-printed and used in conjunction with voicemail. Can be used as fliers or corner shop ads; but also put in junk mail reply paid envelopes, mailing lists, or even posted to people on your prospect list if you really can't face speaking to them!
Business cards
Should always be to hand. Give them directly to people you meet or leave them in pubs, restaurants, hotels etc. etc.
Opportunity brochures & Christmas specialogues
These can also be left where people typically wait and browse - dentists, doctors, laundrets, takeaways, etc.
Video and Audio tapes
These are major sponsoring tools as they can do most of the work for you. Ten videos handed out and in to people on your prospect list is vital.
Posters
Can be put up in shops, librarys, community notice boards, colleges etc. BUT NOT ON STREET FURNITURE - (see Kleeneze business manual)
Lineage advertising -advertising pools
Simple lineage adverts are just as effective as large expensive boxed ads. Start with your local regional weeklys but be sure to speak to your sponsor about wording, as a lot of money can be wasted on a poor advert. Your upline may well run an advertising pool which will give you a greater spread for your money.
Mailing lists
Vary in quality and cost - see Exchange and Mart. It's another rod but can be expensive.
Internet
Prospects are unlikely to beat a path to your door by having a web page unless you have the skill and or money to get it in the top 10 on the search engines rather than 1,957th. Chat rooms and Bulletin Boards can be successful as well as 'surfing the net' to find people you can contact direct. Further developments are happening all the time so it is worth keeping abreast of the technology especially as we expand into Europe. Prospects can be directed to this web site for more information either before or as well as sending an information pack.
CONSISTENCY AND PERSISTENCY ARE KEY VALUES FOR YOUR SUCCESS.

TOOLS
Books & Tapes
Kleeneze allow us to start our business with no training and minimal investment. However, just like any other job, career or business , a lot more can be got out of it by studying the subject. We have three areas to study. First is Kleeneze itself ..... find out all you can about the company you represent as fast as you can. Meetings and questions, questions, questions, will do that. Secondly is the industry of Network Marketing and Direct Sales that we are in. And thirdly, as this is a people business, it is time to understand what makes people tick (including yourself), and what is the proven success formula of successful people. Read a book for half an hour a day, and listen to educational tapes in the car from the many on sale at most of the meetings. Plan to re-invest the cost of the business kit again in books, tapes, and going to meetings in your first 3 months to drive your business forward.
Voicemail
If you are serious about your Kleeneze business then you will want to know everything about the business and be kept informed of what is happening on a day to day basis. The e:go voice mail system provides this and a lot lot more. It's the way to keep in touch with your upline and downline; receive training from your peers daily; as well as an answering service for advertising. If you are not sure about it; ask your upline to let you listen to some recent messages, and remember that your first months trial is absolutely free with no ongoing committment!
Opportunity Meetings
Regular local meetings which give the new distributor or prospect a professional presentation about Kleeneze. An ideal place to bring your friends from your prospect list. This is a meeting that needs your regular support even if you do not have a guest. Some of it may appear repetetive; some of it may appear repetetive; which is how you will learn to give a testimony or present the slides. Remember, you may just learn something crucial from another distributor in the bar afterwards; or even speak to someone in the hotel who joins your business!
Sizzle sessions
These are small gatherings of 2 - 10 people, often in someone's home over a cup of coffee. It's a time to sort out the nuts and bolts of the business with your upline and a few other people who have perhaps only joined a week or two before you. This is where you realise that all the problems that you face, are just the same as everyone faces except that they know how to overcome them. There is no need to worry about a question when you realise you have a lot of new friends willing to help you.
Trainings
These are more organised training meetings with a clear agenda of the material to be covered. It's an opportunity to expand your knowledge with plenty of opportunity to talk and learn from others.
Seminars
Bigger and more formal than the trainings with typically 100 - 500 people attending from a wide area. It's a time to hear first hand from some of the top distributors in the business; and a time to realise that they are ordinary people like you who are more than willing to chat to the newest distributor about getting a fast start during the breaks.
Major Company Conferences
Two or three a year, at central locations, with 1000 to 5000 attendees. This is the time to hear first hand from the directors of Kleeneze the news, annoucements and direction the business as a whole is going. A time to take in the immense potential of Kleeneze and in particular your business. Don't forget that there are also 2 overseas conferences that you can qualify for giving you 5-star luxury at no expense to yourself!!
Note: A meeting is like your office. Therefore be punctual and dress in smart attire (advise your guests). Make your guests and others guests feel welcome and introduce them to others in the business.
Remember:
Not everyone who attends the
meetings is successful, but everyone who is
successful attends the meetings.

Getting Organised
Remember that you are running a business and it is important to set up your "office" so that it runs efficiently. It may be just a corner of your bedroom, or even under the stairs; but it should be somewhere that you can use the telephone away from the kids or TV. You need:-
* Ring binders for invoices / statements / bonuses.
* Stationary - envelopes / info packs / stamps.
* Diary / calender / Filofax.
* Answer machine or Call Minder.
* Opportunity brochures / tapes / videos.
* Opportunity presenter - see your uplines. Argos do a good zipped presenter for £10.
* Holdall for your car with fliers, corner shop ads, info packs, videos - always be prepared.
* Although not essential, a personal computer with Internet access is the way forward. Access to the Interenet through a friend / library, Internet Cafe etc. will do, as this is the easiest and cheapest way of placing orders and running your account.

Planning & Tracking
Planning both what you are going to do and when you are going to do it are vital activities for any business. Your Kleeneze business is no different. You should already have been using the weekly planner in the retail section to plan out your retailing activity. It is now time to plan both your retailing and sponsoring activities into your week.
Just as important as planning is tracking. It was easy to use the retail tracking sheet ..... now it is time to track all your business activity. Without committing it to paper it becomes all too easy to delude oneself about the true activity that has been done. It is also impossible to see where changes need to be made to get better. Whenever, anyone startsmplete this activity tracking sheet, their business will improve ..... even better if you commit to give it to your upline every week. But note this is not for them to analyse, they are just making sure you have done it!! Arrange to give a copy to your granny if she will beat you up for not doing it!!

Plugging into The System
Your success in Kleeneze is about plugging into the proven system and doing enough activity to work the numbers game.
Have you:
* Read and understood about Network Marketing, the industry you are in! Particularly the Don Failla 10 Napkin Presentation book and others available at most meetings?
* Read and understood the Kleeneze pay plan and the importance of the Executive Distributor level of the career plan?
* Understood that building your business is just a numbers game. The successful people in Kleeneze haven't achieved their position because of who they are but because of the action they took. Anyone taking that action will get the same results.
* Developed your weekly Activity Plan and most importantly completed the Activity Tracking Sheet every week?
* Developed your activity so that you are sending out info packs / videos on a consistent basis?
* Used as many of the Fish Pond Activites as possible to have many rods in the pond?
* Become comfortable doing 1 to 1 appointments and sponsoring new distributors?
* Become a sponge for information about Network Marketing, Kleeneze, and people (especially yourself) through your own personal development programme?
* Connected to voicemail and use it daily in both directions?
* Attended as many meetings and trainings at all levels as possible and using them by bringing guests and new distributors? They are essential to build the business.
* Used this manual to teach and train your new distributors on how to do all of the above using sizzle sessions?
* Developed your leaders but avoided trap of trying to manage your team?
